One of the hints for this puzzle was: "In order to conquer your fear of spiders, you’ll have to become one." If you're actually wearing the rings, and you hook your thumbs together to make your hands into a "spider", you can follow the "directions" on each spider by retracting the appropriate fingers and seeing which letters remain. Going from left pinky to right pinky, this spells out CANDY LAND AREA, (answer word) DECAY. This would have directed teams back to Candy Land.

Putting this puzzle together entailed a lot of spider mutilation. We're still finding spider legs in our houses.
